Wild Hearts, EA
Wild Hearts is an action role-playing video game developed by Omega Force and published by Electronic Arts under its EA Originals label. The game tasks the player to hunt massive monsters in a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan.
I was tasked with designing a landing page for a sponsored, competitive event over Wild Hearts debut. Using assets provided and my own creativity, this was the end result that went live in front of over 25,000 people.

Overview
During my time at LeagueSpot, I was the lead visual designer for this landing page design under Wild Hearts branding. I was responsible for designing the interface, the structure, and visual design. It needed to include a leaderboard, a point system chart, and a place to show off the main twitch stream.
Challenge
Implementing an easy to read, easy to code design for the landing page within our extremely short time frame was a fun challenge. The goal was to make it understandable at a glance, while keeping Electronic Arts’ and Omega Force’s branding in tact for the launch of their new game.
Solution
I leveraged assets and previous landing pages to gain inspiration to design a visual hierarchy that was easy to comprehend and design. This created a consistency to match the branding of Wild Hearts, Electronic Arts and Omega Force.
Process
Page Flow
The flow of a landing page plays a crucial role with the audience to develop a reason for them to stay and explore more. I designed the page in a way that caters to both a new audience and existing users. As a result, their user experience remains smooth and enables the audience to swiftly locate their desired information at a glance.
Typography
With its resolute clarity Neue Haas Unica is suitable for use in a wide range of contexts. The light characters paired well with the more elegant Optima LT Std font, which was used for headlines.
Colors
Wild Hearts has a very strong color palette, reflecting the brands personality and making it stand out. I kept accessibility in mind to create a cohesive visual design language across the entire experience.
Design System
I designed a visual identity that reflects the approachable yet professional personality of the Wild Hearts brand. The hero image, dividers, and brush strokes support the message and help guide the user, adding a touch of artistry to the whole experience.
